From the airport:

Taxi:
A taxi direct from the airport to MLC's Junior School on Park Road will cost $40 - $50 and will take around half an hour although longer in peak hour traffic. After 10pm, +20%. Maxi-taxis with Taxis Combined are no extra fare if you want to book one to share on the return journey.

Train:
The closest station to MLC School (B) is actually Strathfield, not Burwood. Strathfield is on the Northern, Western, Southern and Bankstown lines and is a country train stop so very easy to get to. From the Strathfield station underpass (A), take the Everton Road exit and follow the map below to the Junior School. Taxis are also available if you have bags. The walk is 1km.
The walk to Burwood station (C) takes you through the park and via Westfield shopping centre and is also about 1km. 
Trains from the airport to Strathfield include a change at Central and take 30 minutes in peak hour (with most regular trains) and cost $15.80. To get to the train station at the airport, follow the directions from baggage collection carousel number 2. 

Bus:
The 400 bus goes directly from the domestic and international terminals to Burwood Rd, in Burwood. If you alight at the Westfield shopping centre on the corner of Burwood Park, you need only walk diagonally across the park to MLC School. The bus is every 20 minutes in peak hours and takes 45 minutes. Bus cost is around $4.50 per person. 

Shuttle:
Bus Eastside will drop you at the school or your hotel and leaves/returns to the airport each hour. Schedule at http://www.airportbus.com.au/timetable/view?id=38. Around $60 each way.
